Her Name means a prayer wave in japanese

Inori Nami is an authentic and purpose-driven independent artist whose supporters around the world are known as the Nami Tribe or Nami Warriors. Born in California, raised in Sasebo, Japan, and currently residing in Florida, Nami has been making waves in the music industry for over a decade. Her unique style has been compared to a blended mix of Janet Jackson and Missy Elliot with a pinch of Nicki Minaj.

Nami's most recent major project is her new single "Du O" featuring Sean Kingston, which is already making waves in the industry. In addition, she has landed a full-page feature on Stardom101 Magazine. For the past 14 years, she has dominated the hip hop charts in Sasebo, Japan, on the platform ReverbNation, ranking #1 for 14 consecutive years.

In February 2023, Nami released a 3-year project, a non-profit film titled "Novacane: Under Water", which was funded with her own hard-earned money. The film aims to raise awareness and gather donations for the Women's Center and the National Awareness of Mental Illness (the film is currently under revision). This humanitarian act is just one example of how Nami uses her voice and platform for a greater purpose. In the midst of producing the film, she was also on a double tour for performances and music videos.

Nami's passion for her career started at the young age of 6 and has never left her heart while striving for her big break. Her former manager, Jordan, an A&R with Roc-A-Fella records, led her to do business or share a stage with many major artists in the industry, including Freeway, Young Dro, Princess from Crime MOB, and Beanie Sigel. Freeway, in particular, was her close mentor for 5 years.

One of Nami's hit singles, "Ride or Die", was featured on hip hop artist O.T. Genesis' project and earned its spot on the TOP150 GLOBAL RADIO CHARTS with her late manager Nigel "Bez" Lee, owner of Bez Knows Talent, a marketing executive for Universal and DefJam. Nami has performed in front of large crowds at festivals holding over 10k people and on local and national television in Japan. Her last major performances were opening for DJ Envy and MoneyBaggyo.

As a mom of one teen daughter, Nami represents the single mothers who are determined to show their children that dreams do come true with pure intentions and a valuable work ethic. Nami's full story runs deep, and she is committed to making a positive impact on the world through her music and humanitarian efforts.
